Our Approach to Collections
The professionals at RMS utilize a sales oriented approach to the collection process. At RMS, we recognize the importance of your institution’s image and therefore, we employ positive reinforcement and professionalism as a means to an end. We do not resort to overt coercion as a collection tactic. The RMS collection strategy includes a combination of mail and telephone collection processes. We encourage payment in full and the benefits of this option as well as the possibility of payment installments as a viable option. RMS approaches the collection strategy in a positive, respectful manner which increases our ability to collect your funds.

Account Placement/Services
Clients are able to place accounts is a number of ways including FTP transfer, US mail, E-mail, fax or directly from your loan servicer. In addition, RMS can provide you with traditional placement forms or word processing templates for your use.

Software/Account Access
RMS utilizes a state of the art database program that enables us to process transactions for multiple account types and varying interest rates.  Clients are able to access their accounts via our web site in order to view payments, collection history and collector notes.

Remittances 
Remittances can be submitted in either net or gross form. In addition, RMS can send remittance data to your loan servicer if desired.

Reports
Client reports are sent on a monthly basis and can be sent to multiple locations. Customized reports can be created to your specific needs.
